Essaouira is often associated with its blue fishing boats, fortified walls and Atlantic coastline. While these elements define the city, I found myself drawn to the everyday moments unfolding around them.
This documentary street photography series is an observation of daily life in Essaouira. By wandering through the medina, the harbour and the seafront without a fixed destination, I photographed ordinary moments: children at play, fishermen at work, people waiting, brief encounters and small visual coincidences.
Rather than documenting landmarks, this series explores the character of the city through its people and the rhythm of everyday life. It is a personal observation of the moments that often go unnoticed, yet together shape the identity of a place.
