Algeria reveals itself in fragments. Rather than photographing the street directly, I was drawn to the layers created by windows, mirrors, cars, walls and other natural frames. I simply observe everyday life as it unfolds. People enter and leave the frame, disappear behind obstacles or briefly connect with one another through the composition. These moments are unscripted and often exist for only a fraction of a second. Together, the photographs explore how framing shapes not only an image, but also the way we experience a place.
