El Salto is a photographic essay that explores the relationship between youth, identity, and landscape within contexts of migration. Develo¬ped through a long-term engagement with a group of young people in Barcelona and Morocco, the Project examines their connection to the sea as a symbolic space of transit, desire, and belonging.

The images combine everyday scenes with collaboratively constructed portraits, forming an open, symbolic narrative centered on the shared gesture of jumping into the water.

The project is currently accompanied by a video essay that brings together the voices of several participants, weaving their testimonies into the visual narrative and expanding the project’s reflective and experiential dimension.
