"A labyrinth is essentially a place of transit, an ethical, moral transit to one inevitable centre.†Guillermo del Toro
Wandering through the laneways in Morocco, I had the feeling of being inside a labyrinth. A route toward a center, but simultaneously prevent any exit if one has not taken care to leave path marks. For me, the houses in close proximity to each-other, the mass of wires and cables randomly over the neighbourhood, the signs of planned urban development and in general, this formations of spaces and infrastructures are strong untold narratives. Through my photographs, I depicted this special urban characteristic and my interests in discovering its boundaries. To me this built environment is not simply an empty space correspondingly filled with objects, but a system continuously resulting from and immortalise everyday existence.
