A photographic project resulting from my various trips to Morocco, a wonderful land full of history, culture and tradition that with its ancient Berber ethnicity has marked a significant life path in North Africa called Maghreb.
The Berbers of Morocco, a nomadic people who live on the edge of the sandy desert, like to call themselves "Amazigh" which in the Berber language means "Free Men" for their lifestyle, independent and solitary.
A difficult lifestyle based on continuous movements based on climatic conditions and the presence of water, among the Berbers of the desert stands out the cordiality and sense of welcome towards the stranger demonstrated by the invitation to their tents (their home) to taste the Berber mint tea among tales of ancient stories
In this photographic project I wanted to immortalize the lifestyle of the nomadic families still remaining today who have preferred to carry on their customs and traditions of independence by choosing to live in solitude, even if difficult, far from modern influences
